Set for Spring
We love it when the tulips come out. We realize we might have to wait a little bit longer for these beloved signs of spring to bloom outdoors, but after a long winter, and year for that matter, we are excited to be setting things up for spring indoors and you can too! Refreshing greens, sunny yellows and light blues have a way of awakening our spirits and I think that is why these colours have been really popular recently. We are all in need of that hope that the dawn of spring brings.
Bring the outdoors, and that feeling of a breath of fresh air in, with a tablescape set for spring. Crisp white vases, serving pieces and dinnerware bring light to the spread and allow the spring palette to pop. Subtle touches of silver capture the glimmer of the spring sunshine. and work to reflect and magnify the impact of the beautiful colour here.
We also love the imperfect and hammered shape of the chargers and the organic leaf-like accent plate layered among the white Lastra dinnerware from VIETRI. Details like the spring green accented napkins wrapped with ribbon and succulents complete the look.
We can’t leave out the fact that the green basketweave placemats from Chilewich are the perfect canvas upon which to set this spring scape.
We would also like to reintroduce you to the Luxury Melamine pieces from Beatriz Ball New Orleans. When you hear melamine you might at first think summer and outdoor dining, but when you see these pieces you will realize, like we have, that they are gorgeous at all times of the year and as amazing accent and serving pieces indoors too.
What could be more refreshing then watery blues?!? Again silver and glass pieces add to the airy ambiance of this look.
Doesn’t the polka dot glassware just scream SPRING or maybe even carries us forward to the carefree days of summer?!? There is nothing wrong with planning ahead.
And if you love just living in the moment these faux tulips will have you enjoying spring early, no real water even needed. Actually when you look at the beauty of this vase the flowers aren’t really even needed, but the combination is stunning.
You may know we love a great serving tray both for its intended use and for a styling piece. Its a great way to unify several different accent pieces on a table top.
Speaking of serving pieces these pieces from Julia Knight’s Cascade Collection are a great addition for entertaining this spring. The soft shimmery mother of pearl infused enamel fits in so well with our spring pallette and brings yet another element from nature. These are so amazing as decorative pieces in their own right that it is hard to believe that these are very functional as well being food safe, dishwasher safe and they can go into the oven up to 250 degrees.
We hope you stop by Modern Accents to experience a little of this fresh spring inspiration in person!
